This is probably the best in the series. Certainly better than the last. It's like the promise was finally fulfilled. Author Laurie finally came in to her stride with this book. The plot is not annoying as some of the others were. It's thrilling, complex, and keeps you guessing to the end. The wonderful, everything-comes-together end! The characters you love are here, but not will any silliness. Not a cozy, cozy, whatever that it. Remove the cartoon cover and it's a real novel. :)

The plot allowed Abby, the protagonist, to shine. The plot is believable, her "gift" fit in just perfectly, and this book has a nice edge of mystique and mystery.

If you like a little paranormal with your mystery, you'll enjoy. If you don't, it won't get in the way.

A great plot, great characters, great writing, great buildup---I'm ready for the next one. Hope she can keep it going.

I am a big fan of the Psychic Eye Mysteries as well as Victoria Laurie's Ghost Hunter Mystery Series. Laurie changes the situation and/or location just enough for each book to keep them from getting repetitive. I can't wait to see where the series goes from here!

I really enjoy Victoria Laurie's Psychic Eye mysteries. Well written but could stand some better editing. The story lines are strong and sometimes predictable, but the story itself is always entertaining. I've read all 11 books in this series and I enjoyed them all, particularly since I am also a psychic and can relate extremely well to the heroine's challenges as a psychic. Great series, I hope to see more from Victoria Laurie in this series!
Great book and great series. Only problem is her great distaste about any person who is not stereotypically gorgeous. She makes derogatory statements about every one else like anorexia people, fat people, ugly people, etc. It heavily distracts the reader from the story line.
Have been buying one at a time to get the full series! Hard to pull myself away from these books. Eventually want to start reading Victoria Laurie's Ghoul books too! I'm not even a book reader normally, now have found that reading these get my mind off of all the chatter racing through my little brain too!
I normally love these books and Abby's flakiness, while somewhat annoying, is also endearing. But In This one she is just too stupid. She's in Vegas looking for Dutch's kidnapped cousin but she ne we uses her crew to help find him. She just functions like a glorified lie detector. And then when Dutch goes missing she leys his muderous boss know that she knows he's a murderer. That's when I stopped reading. Too stupid.
